Tanner Preissler

Hello! I am Tanner Preissler, a graduate of Augusta University's School of Computer and Cyber Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. With a strong foundation in cybersecurity best practices, I am committed to securing digital environments and continuously advancing my technical skills. My education and hands-on experience have equipped me with expertise in network defense, scripting, automation, penetration testing, and cloud environments, along with proficiency in tools like Wireshark, Python, Metasploit, OpenVAS, and Microsoft Azure.



I enjoy problem-solving and am particularly passionate about defensive cyber operations, focusing on building resilient systems that protect against emerging threats. Looking forward, I am excited to apply what I have learned as well as develop new skills in real-world settings, collaborate with other professionals, and contribute to a secure digital landscape.

Nessus Essentials Lab

This project documents a vulnerability assessment performed from Nessus, running on a local host, against a single Windows 10 virtual machine configured on a Host‑Only network. The goal is to discover, analyze, and report vulnerabilities.
